But I think that, rather than looking at who's to blame, we should pray and accept those difficult times as: a) God's will - since He is the One to allow things to happen, and b) a source of grace through prayer, penance and the practice of virtue. One thing we, as individuals, can be in control of regardless of the actions and behavior of others, is our willingness to pray and trust in God. Then, no matter what happens, we can profit, at least spiritually, from all things through the practice of virtue. And, yes, in spite of momentary thoughts to the contrary, there is always hope for conversion - for every one.ocd sisterhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14057417006117974670noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-694733281909491975.post-51283581501651479192009-12-06T21:37:15.171-04:002009-12-06T21:37:15.171-04:00Thank you for posting this. I tend to keep asking *where did I go wrong* <br />and sometimes taking all the blame...even though there are times I have been at fault, I know that it is a two way street and after doing my best, they must in turn make the decision to follow God's will or not.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-694733281909491975.post-76212080676717766852009-12-06T16:16:09.854-04:002009-12-06T16:16:09.854-04:00Excellent post. Our faith is a gift and a gift that requires a response. It is for me to stay true to Jesus and my faith and to pray for my children with the peace of mind that I did the best I could at the time with what I had to be a good example of a living faith. There is always hope. Thanks.Rebeccahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04487594449739562232noreply@blogger.com
